Your MV system requires accurate interaction between lighting, camera, actuator and sensor devices to ensure high quality images. The Nuvis-5306RT integrates an LED lighting controller, camera trigger, encoder input, PWM output and digital I/O to connect and control all the vision devices. All vision-specific I/O is managed by Neousys’ patented MCU-based architecture and DTIO/NuMCU firmware to guarantee microsecond-scale real-time I/O control.
Vision systems also require exceptional computing power. In addition to the remarkable performance of its Intel® 6th Gen Skylake Core™ i7/i5 CPU, the Nuvis-5306RT can further accommodate the NVIDIA® 75W TDP GPU to leverage GPU-accelerated vision libraries or deep-learning vision software. Smaller than most vision controllers at 9.5 x 8.9 x 4.4 inches, the Nuvis-5306RT incorporates vision Specific I/O that supports all peripheral devices for machine vision applications through its CC/CV lighting controller (1A/24V), 12V camera trigger output, Quadrature encoder input, PWM output, and Isolated DI/DO. The Nuvis-5306RT is specifically designed for an NVIDIA 75W GPU providing 20x the FLOPS of a typical CPU, offers reliable 7/24 operation at 100% GPU load and leverages GPU-accelerated vision libraries or deep-learning vision software. The integrated camera interface includes 4x 802.3at PoE+ ports, 2x GbE ports and 4x USB 3.0 ports with 1000 MB/s bandwidth. The 2-slot expandable PCIe cassette interface options include dual slot 75W GPU card, COTS CameraLink® and CoaXPress cards and 10G Ethernet. DTIO V2 includes a Time/position-based trigger with deterministic 10 μs response latency. The patented innovative thermal design can effectively dissipate heat generated by the GPU to ensure reliable real-world extended temperature operations from -25°C to 60°C under 100% GPU load. This exceptional thermal performance is compounded by an innovative thermal transfer system that conducts heat 10x better than traditional fanless designs. The Neousys thermal pad liquefies when heated by the CPU while springs push the CPU closer to the chassis heatsink for optimal heat transfer. Supports DDR4-2133 SDRAM memory, AMT 11.0 and TPM 1.2.
Neousys’ Patented expansion Cassette offers a reliable and flexible way to include fanless system PCI/PCIe bus expansion and minimize inter-card interference, increase expansion area cooling capacity, and ensure easy expansion card installation and replacement.
Individualized heat spreaders are installed in the cassette and conduct heat from the expansion card to the surface of the cassette to sustain a stable thermal environment within the cassette. Inter-card interference is minimized since the cards are isolated in their own compartments. Since the main computer compartment remains undisturbed during cassette installation and replacement, system reliability is maintained and assembly/service procedures are simplified due to the modular design. Integrated vision-specific I/O includes a 4-CH CC/CV LED lighting controller with constant current and voltage modes. Up to 2A per channel with 100kHz dimming control in constant current mode. The constant voltage mode is 24 VDC with 100kHz dimming control. 4-CH camera trigger outputs are provided and have a 12 VDC level output. The 1-CH quadrature encoder incorporates 3x input tracks, /A/B/Z. The 8-CH isolated DO includes 4-CH isolated high-speed digital outputs @ <2µs transient time for strobe/PWM and 4-CH isolated high-current digital outputs with up to 500 mA of rated current. The 8-CH isolated high-speed digital inputs have a <2µs transient time. Patented MCU-based, real-time I/O control by DTIO V2 and NuMCU. Built-in camera interfaces include 4-CH IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ PSE ports with an 80W power budget and 4-CH USB 3.0 ports @1000 Mb/s bandwidth.
