Compact GPU Computing Done Right

Small, rugged, and task specific; the most demanding placement criteria is possible with a 9.5 x 8.9 x 4.4 inch footprint while conforming to military transport vibration and functional shock (50g) crash simulation standards. The pre-loaded GPU card has its own patented thermal ventilation system and the main computer’s quiet fanless design guards against intrusion of airborne contaminants.  Exceptional thermal performance is achieved through an innovative thermal transfer system that conducts heat 10x better than traditional fanless designs. The Neousys thermal pad liquefies when heated by the CPU while springs push the CPU closer to the chassis heatsink for optimal heat transfer.

Intel’s® Long Life Cycle 8th-Gen hexa-core i7/i5 CPU increases the NUVO-7160GC’s computational performance by 50% over the previous generation and is designed for long term availability. Dual channel DDR4 2666Mhz memory. Choose an M.2 NVMe SSD or Intel® Optane™ memory for traditional HDD acceleration. The extended operating temperature range of -25°C (cold boot) to 60°C applies @100% load. The extended power input range of 8 to 35 VDC eliminates the need for a separate power adapter in many applications.


Connectivity on Tap

The array of Nuvo-7160GC on-board I/O ports are shielded from power surges and ESD through specially designed protection circuits. The fast 4x USB 3.1 Gen2 (10 Gbps) ports are in addition to the 4x USB 3.1 Gen1 and offer the added advantage of 900mA of current handling capacity; nearly double that of previous versions. The M.2 2280 M key socket (Gen3 x4) supports a conventional SSD, NVMe SSD or Intel® Optane™ memory. 6x GbE ports @9.5KB super jumbo frame for CPU cycle reduction and increased TCP performance. Optional 802.3at PoE+ PSE for Ports 3 – 6 with a 100 W total power budget.  4x COM ports, VGA, DVI-D, and DisplayPort. Rich optional I/O including DIO, COM, PoE+, ignition power, and USB with MezIO™ expansion cards.
