A GPU Hot Fudge Sundae

Combine a 9.5 x 8.9 x 4.4 inch footprint with a 75W 768 CUDA GPU card, -25°C to 60°C extended operating temperature @100% load and an Intel® 6th-Gen Skylake CPU and you get the perfect combination of brains, braun, and size efficiency for GPU-accelerated tasks. The pre-installed Gigabyte® GTX1050Ti-D5-4G (75W) GPU card in the Nuvo-5095GC has its own patented thermal ventilation system and the main computer’s quiet fanless design guards against intrusion of airborne contaminants. Exceptional main compartment thermal performance is achieved through an innovative thermal transfer system that conducts heat 10x better than traditional fanless designs. The Neousys thermal pad liquefies when heated by the CPU while springs push the CPU closer to the chassis heatsink for optimal heat transfer. The Nuvo-5095GC recently played a major role in Baidu’s Apollo autonomous driving platform. The Baidu project is an open source code platform and its’ capabilities in obstacle perception, trajectory planning, vehicle control, vehicle operating systems and other functions, as well as the complete set of testing tools will soon be made available.

Intel’s® Long Life Cycle 6th-Gen Skylake i7/i5 CPU brings an 11% IPC improvement along with 22% power reduction contributing to a significant efficiency boost.  Due to the long life cycle CPU, product model changes are curbed or eliminated over time to keep recurring project costs to a minimum.  Additionally, the jump to faster DDR4-2133 memory increases the Nuvo-5095GC GPU card FPS rate. The extended power input range of 8 to 35 VDC eliminates the need for a separate power adapter in many applications.


You Have Connections

Specialized I/O includes 8x GbE, 8x USB and 3x COM ports with optional 802.3at PoE+ PSE for GbE Port 3-6 with 80 W for total power budget.  2x internal SATA ports for 2.5″ HDD/SSD installation, supporting RAID 0/1.  Bus expansion includes 1x full-size mSATA port (muxed with mini-PCIe),  1x internal mini PCI Express socket with front-accessible SIM socket, and 1x internal mini PCI Express socket with internal SIM socket (muxed with mSATA).  Optional 8-CH isolated DI and 8-CH isolated DO provides a versatile interface for automation tasks.  On/Off remote control.  VGA, DVI-D, and 2x DisplayPort connectors with 4K2K resolution. The Nuvo-5095GC is a rugged long life cycle GPU computing platform tough enough for environmentally challenging installations.
